Diaz Vaughn + Company is a multidisciplinary studio specializing in branding, communication and design. Led by nationally-recognized creative director, art director and graphic designer Andrea Diaz-Vaughn, DV+Co works with a variety of individuals and brands to ideate and execute meaningful solutions and experiences for audiences.
We believe our best work is often the result of clear communication with our clients, the complete understanding of their goals and the ability to act as the creative extension of their brand.
Before starting DV+Co, Andrea’s work as creative director and art director for the News & Review papers secured the company as a leader in alternative weekly cover design. It was there that she developed her knack for visual storytelling. From there, she joined the acclaimed Sol Design Group (the design subsidiary of ad agency Glass McClure) as a senior designer. There, she gained invaluable experience working with clients such as Amtrak California, Mercedes-Benz, Duraflame, and Baja Fresh. Andrea also directed the 100-year-old California Restaurant Association’s complete rebranding, helping them reclaim their foothold as a hub for the state’s $58 billion restaurant industry.
In 2008, Andrea opened DV+Co with the intent of collaborating with other communication experts who share her passion for creating evocative work that connects our clients with their target audience. DV+Co most recently partnered with Geralyn Broder Murray for multiple projects, including a complete rebranding of ScholarShare, California’s 529 College Savings Plan, and the $50 million capital campaign for the Diocese of Sacramento.
